Jaylor Fabricating is hiring a Plasma Table Operator to join our Ontario-based team. This role involves operating a plasma table and other large metalworking equipment in a 4x10 shift schedule at our Orton location. The role requires 2–5+ years of experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

• 2–5+ years of experience in metal fabrication or plasma table operation.
• Ability to operate a plasma table and read blueprints or sketches.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Completing general machine operations daily.
• Operate a plasma table.
• Operate a variety of other large machinery.
• Operate saws, drill press, iron worker, etc.
• Basic mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills are considered an asset.
• Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work.
• Perform, set up and operate a variety of metal working equipment.
• Follow all safety regulations per OHSA and company policies.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Able to operate forklifts
• CNC experience is considered an asset
• Ability to operate hand tools
• Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, lifting 50 pounds, and bending
• Great communication skills
• Has an eye for detail
• Strong mechanical aptitude
