Job summary

WesTower Communications Ltd. in Thorsby, Alberta is seeking a CNC Operator to join our fabrication team. You will operate CNC Plasma table, CNC Angle line, and CNC Drill line, read drawings, and use a metric tape measure, with overhead cranes supporting material handling.

Qualifications

• CNC experience is an asset.
• Overhead crane experience required.
• Fabrication environment experience a must.
• Able to set and achieve goals.
• The ability to work and solve problems independently.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accountability.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude!
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Clean Criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Operation of CNC Plasma table, CNC Angle line and CNC Drill line.
• Able to read part drawings and a metric tape measure.
• Working with Overhead cranes.
• Experience in the operation of Band Saws, Ironworkers and Drills is an asset.
• Help with maintaining an organized work area.
