Job summary

Jaylor Fabricating is seeking a CNC Brake Press Operator to join our Ontario team. The role involves setting up and operating CNC press brakes and folding machines, loading tooling, and reading fabrication drawings to ensure accurate parts.

We value a strong mechanical aptitude, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to work well in a team or independently. Expect a 4x10 shift with a competitive hourly wage and robust benefits at our Orton, Ontario location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane.
• Ability to operate forklifts.
• Mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills are assets.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Solid mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and operate a variety of metalworking equipment.
• Set up and operate CNC press brakes and folding machines.
• Load and unload tooling safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Collaborate with fitters, supervisors and production staff to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Follow OHSA and company safety regulations.
