Job summary

Altis Technology in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Planview Administrator to support and optimize a large enterprise Planview environment. You will work with the Lead Planview Administrator to improve performance, workflows, and value from project and portfolio management tools.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into practical system improvements, troubleshoot issues, and proactively drive continuous improvement in Planview configurations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Planview administration, support, or related field.
  • Hands-on Planview administration experience with production environments.
  • Experience with user access, permissions, and license management.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Planview Portfolio Management platform.
  • Configure components like Lifecycle Models, Screens, Dialogs, and Job Streams.
  • Implement workflow improvements to enhance usability and delivery operations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot Planview issues for users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Planview with business processes.
  • Monitor usage and performance; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current with Planview updates and industry trends.

About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting and optimizing an enterprise Planview environment within a large, established organization. You'll work alongside the Lead Planview Administrator to strengthen system performance, improve workflows, and help teams get more value from their project and portfolio management tools.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand evolving needs, troubleshoot issues, and translate operational requirements into practical system improvements. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with problem solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
  • You'll support the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Planview Portfolio Management platform.
  • You'll configure and maintain components including Lifecycle Models, Configured Screens, Scripted Dialogs, and Job Streams.
  • You'll implement workflow updates and system enhancements that improve usability and delivery operations.
  • You'll provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve Planview-related user inquiries.
  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Planview functionality with business processes and objectives.
  • You'll monitor system usage and performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements.
  • You'll stay current with Planview updates, new capabilities, and industry trends.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Planview administration, application support, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency configuring and administering Planview, including Portfolios, ICP, Strategy, ProjectPlace, and AgilePlace.
  • Direct, hands-on Planview administration experience, including full read/write administrator access and responsibility for maintaining the production environment.
  • Experience with progression engine and managing user administration activities such as access requests, permissions, and license management.
  • Strong understanding of Planview Project, Portfolio, Resource, and Financial Management functionality, including resource requirements versus allocations and rate card maintenance.
  • Experience supporting end users through a ticketing environment, including triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and working within defined service-level expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting high-volume user populations, including Project Managers and Resource Managers, with issues related to timesheets, schedules, permissions, navigation, and application functionality.
  • Experience supporting workflows, system configuration, troubleshooting, and application optimization.
  • Experience with data integration and reporting tools such as Power BI is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
