Job summary

OnePlan is seeking a Solution Consultant for a contract engagement in Canada. You will guide customers through discovery, implementation, and adoption to align solutions with strategy and measurable value.

Ideal candidates have 3 to 5+ years implementing PPM/Work Management platforms, experience with Microsoft Project Online, Power BI, and remote client engagements. This role supports a remote-first team and offers pathway to permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on implementation with PPM/Work Management platforms (OnePlan, MSP Online, Clarity PPM, Planview, Smartsheet).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project Online, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in SaaS or consulting environments delivering outcomes.
• Strong communication and remote client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions translating business needs into OnePlan configurations.
• Implement and integrate PPM/Work Management platforms such as OnePlan, MS Project Online, or Smartsheet.
• Configure portfolios, project plans, resource plans, and financial tracking.
• Use Microsoft technologies to extend solutions and connect client ecosystems.
• Partner with clients during delivery from requirements through adoption.
• Deliver workshops, demos, and presentations to showcase possibilities.
• Manage remote solution rollouts with engaged stakeholders.

This starts as a contract engagement, and while we’re hiring for an immediate need, we’re also building for the long term. There’s a real possibility of converting to a permanent full‑time role down the road, depending on fit and how the business grows.

What You’ll Do at OnePlan

Solution Consultants play a key role in helping our customers get the most out of OnePlan. You will guide customers through discovery, implementation, and adoption, ensuring the solutions we deliver align with their strategy and create measurable value.

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Leading discovery sessions to understand business needs and translate them into OnePlan configurations
• Implementing and integrating PPM or Work Management platforms such as OnePlan, Microsoft Project Online, or Smartsheet
• Configuring portfolios, project plans, resource plans, and financial tracking to support strategic prioritization and delivery
• Using Microsoft technologies such as Project, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 to extend solutions and connect with client ecosystems
• Partnering with clients throughout the delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering through adoption
• Delivering workshops, demos, and presentations that show clients the possibilities of their solutions
• Managing solution rollouts in a remote setting while keeping stakeholders engaged and informed

Our Ideal Fit

• 3 to 5+ years of hands‑on implementation experience with PPM or Work Management platforms such as OnePlan, Microsoft Project Online, Clarity PPM, Planview, or Smartsheet, in a SaaS or consulting environment
• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem including Project, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 with experience integrating them into broader solutions
• Understanding of PPM and SPM concepts such as capacity planning, time tracking, benefits realization, and resource management
• Consultative mindset with the ability to map business processes to system configurations and deliver outcome‑based solutions
• Professionalism and resilience when navigating complex client environments or challenging situations
• Strong communication skills with experience leading client engagements in a remote environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with strong organizational skills

Bonus points if you have

• Experience supporting PMOs or enterprise transformation programs
• Exposure to financial tracking or portfolio prioritization frameworks
• A background in consulting or professional services roles
