ObjectiveThe Plant Supervisor is responsible for the leadership and management of the operational functions at the Woodstock Plant. The primary focus of this role is leveraging operational excellence by optimizing available resources and achieving the highest productivity at the lowest cost of production. The supervisor will have a strong understanding of the Lafarge commitment to Health and Safety, as well as the core values expected in all Lafarge management including but not limited to planning production, shipping schedules, optimizing equipment utilization and maximizing quality slag production, safety, and budgets. In addition, the incumbent will improve the value of all Company assets at the plant through increased reliability of equipment and lower operating costs while allowing the operation of the equipment to meet production requirements within budget guidelines.
