Amrize Canada Inc. in Woodstock is seeking a Night Shift Plant Operator/Heavy Equipment Operator to support our rock production and material handling. You will operate rock trucks and loaders, perform pre-shift checks, and help maintain equipment in a safe, compliant environment.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork and a commitment to safety; regular night shifts, potential overtime and weekend work, plus a benefits package including health, dental, pension and education support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in construction, mining, or heavy equipment operation is a major plus.
• Surface Miner certification or Rock Truck Driving training is a valuable asset.
• Basic welding and fitting abilities are a bonus.
• Schedule: Must be available for consistent night shifts, overtime, and weekend work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, hardworking, and a team player.
• Unwavering commitment to safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Education: High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
