Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a Plant Operator to support daily operations at our facility in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

The role involves loading/unloading trucks and processing waste material, while maintaining a safe, clean work area and assisting with routine plant tasks. We require the ability to work 8-hour shifts (Mon-Fri, with some evenings and weekends) and to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with possible evenings/weekends.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Handle loading/unloading and processing waste materials.
• Maintain clean and safe equipment and work area.
• Assist with daily plant housekeeping and routines.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.
