Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Plant Operator to support our operations in Newfoundland and Labrador. You will handle material loading/unloading, keep equipment clean, and assist with daily plant housekeeping while performing other operational tasks as needed.

The role requires 8-hour shifts, possible evenings or weekends, and passing a pre-employment drug test. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday with some evening and weekend work
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

• Material handling such as loading/unloading trucks & processing waste material
• Maintains safe and clean equipment and general work area
• Involved in daily housekeeping of plant
