Plant Mechanic (Millwright) - West Region

Position Overview:

Our West Region Maintenance Team is hiring a Millwright (Plant Mechanic) to work within the London - St. Thomas area.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on ready-mix concrete plants, including pumps, water systems, conveying systems, piping, boiler operation, air compressor systems, and controls, along with other power-driven rotating equipment.
2. Carry out indoor and outdoor maintenance activities throughout the year.
3. Travel across territory to various locations using a company truck.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Safety-oriented team player.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Initiative and ability to learn through practical hands-on experience and theoretical instruction.
• Valid Ontario Driver's license (Class G) with a satisfactory 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Own or willing to acquire a basic set of hand tools.
