Plant Mechanic (Millwright) - West Region

Location: Burlington, ON, CA, L7R 3X5

Our West Region Maintenance Team is hiring for a Millwright (Plant Mechanic).

Responsibilities:

• Repairs and preventive maintenance for several ready-mix concrete plants that includes pumps, water systems, conveying systems, piping, boiler operation, air compressor systems and controls, in addition to other power-driven rotating equipment.
• Work on this equipment includes both indoor and outdoor maintenance activities year-round.
• Travel across territory to various locations in a company truck.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Safety oriented team player
• Mechanical aptitude
• Initiative and ability to learn through practical "hands on" working experience and theoretical instruction.
• Minimum class G valid Ontario Driver's license, with satisfactory 3-year drivers abstract
• Own, or willing to secure, a basic set of hand tools
