Job summary

Itape is seeking a Maintenance Manager/Superintendent to lead the Maintenance Department, oversee the work order system, and supervise daily maintenance activities at the manufacturing plant. You will coordinate with Maintenance & Engineering management and drive safety, reliability, and cost-effective repairs.

The role requires strong supervisory capabilities, a solid understanding of CMMS, and the ability to plan capital projects while maintaining equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• High School or technical school graduate.
• Minimum of 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance methods, practices, and tools.
• Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead teams.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to read plans and blueprints.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance reliability principles.
• Proficiency with basic office software (word processing, email, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices and work environment.
• Accountable for the maintenance reliability excellence program.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
• Develop and administer a qualified maintenance organization.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance work to minimize downtime.
• Support capital projects and asset reliability improvements.
• Coordinate spare parts and maintenance supplies inventories.
• Set priorities and ensure team meets objectives.
• Review purchases of tools and materials recommended by Supervisors.
• Administer company policies and procedures to the team.
• Plan and install maintenance capital projects.
• Ensure maintenance safety practices are followed.
• Perform related duties as assigned by manager.
