Job summary

Canadian Inclusion is seeking a Maintenance Manager (Finance) in Winnipeg, MB. You will lead TPM/PM initiatives, manage capital and repair projects, and drive equipment reliability through predictive maintenance and SAP systems.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, team leadership, and coordination with management, supervisors, and hourly staff to optimize maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Project management abilities, including problem solving, time management, planning, and leadership, are essential.
• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with plant management, supervisors and hourly employees.
• Candidate should demonstrate SAP experience and be able to complete required screening assessments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and determine equipment failures for root causes and recommend solutions.
• Utilize predictive maintenance tools (vibration, oil, infrared, electrical monitoring) to maximize reliability.
• Use CMMS to improve equipment reliability and track failures and repairs.
• Decide whether to rebuild, repair, or replace equipment.
• Maintain and improve TPM program and PM procedures.
• Train trades and operators on TPM initiatives and technical issues.
• Lead equipment improvement teams and involve employees in TPM.
• Apply six sigma, TPM and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Optimize lubrication management and analyze TPM performance measures.
• Assist in equipment improvement projects and manage plant capital/repair projects.
• Improve storeroom effectiveness and participate in spare parts strategy.
• Supervise department employees and cover for supervisors as needed.
• Plan and assign work to hourly employees; resolve employee issues per policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
