Job summary

Sofina Foods Canada is seeking a qualified finance professional to analyze financial and costing data for Chicken and Turkey operations focused on Port Coquitlam and Abbotsford plants. You will support monthly closes, CI initiatives, and financial/operational reporting to drive continuous improvement.

You will partner with Plant Managers and leadership to identify cost-reduction opportunities and ensure accuracy of reporting, with a strong emphasis on data-driven insights and process excellence.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing finance/analytical role.
• Experience with cost analysis, budgeting and variance reporting.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office proficiency; data mastery.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations reporting improvements to enable better business decisions.
• Provide analysis and commentary on financial results and adj. for plant managers.
• Support month-end close processes and internal control activities.
• Develop tools and reports to assist plant supervision in managing their business units.
• Collaborate with Controller III and other departments on CI and cost-reduction opportunities.
