Job summary

Red Bull Canada is seeking an experienced Plant Controller at the Chilliwack Premix Plant to lead all aspects of finance, controlling, cost accounting, FP&A, inventory management, and capital investment oversight. You will partner with the Plant Manager and Leadership Team to drive profitability, productivity, and working capital optimization while ensuring IFRS compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• CPA designation (Canada) in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/commerce/business administration; MBA would be an asset.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, with 5 years in manufacturing finance and cost accounting.
• Experience in food/pharma/manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, FP&A, budgeting, internal controls and reporting.
• Experience supporting operational leadership teams.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience, SAP preferred.
• Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and internal controls.
• Experience developing BI and KPI reporting.
• Greenfield startup/expansion experience is an asset.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation and FI/CO certification would be an asset.
• PMP and Lean Six Sigma certifications would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Strategic finance partner to Plant Manager and leadership team, driving profitability and performance.
• Own cost accounting: standard costing, BOMs, variances, and margin reporting.
• Lead FP&A: budget, forecasts, scenario analyses, and financial models.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Oversee inventory and working capital management with Supply Chain.
• Capex governance: business cases, ROI analyses, approvals, and CIP accounting.
• Support greenfield startups, ERP implementation, and project governance.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for plant leadership and HQ.
