Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Plant Engineer to drive process technology improvements across emulsion, SME and ANFO manufacturing, focusing on asset management, preventive maintenance and reliability.

You will provide technical support, lead investigations, ensure regulatory and HSE compliance, and collaborate with maintenance planners to optimize equipment performance and plant safety across Dyno Nobel Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in an emulsion manufacturing environment with troubleshooting industrial chemical processes.
• Basic knowledge of machinery, hydraulic & pneumatic systems and plant infrastructure.
• Experience with regulatory and code compliance related to engineering design and construction preferred.
• Reading and interpreting P&ID, PFD and general arrangement drawings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support resources for emulsion, SME and ANFO manufacturing and operations.
• Identify, evaluate and execute process technology improvements to enhance safety and profitability.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners and reliability specialists to align preventive & predictive maintenance work plans.
• Manage equipment programs to reduce operational risks and improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and HSE regulations.
• Lead investigations, inspections and data analyses to determine equipment risk and performance.
• Support design and construction of projects from scoping through commissioning and verification.
