IKO Industries Ltd. is a Canadian-owned leader in roofing and building materials with facilities worldwide. The Plant Engineer will lead projects from conception to commissioning, focusing on production improvements, cost reduction and reliability.

You will supervise equipment, collaborate with quarry operations, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role requires a Bachelor of Engineering and 3–5 years in industrial production.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years progressive industrial production experience (crushing, screening, or mining experience an asset).
• Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong time and project management, organizational, planning, scheduling and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment, machinery and facilities.
• Assist Quarry operations and ensure rock inventory for production; supervise contractors.
• Installation and commissioning of new production equipment and processes; troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Provide technical leadership and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste, cost and improve quality.
• Support facility infrastructure (boilers, HVAC, compressed air, power) and ensure code compliance.
