The Opportunity – Planning Forester

As the Planning Forester, you will be part of the larger Sinclar Group Woodlands team and will have various levels of responsibilities in safety, First Nation relations, community relations, operational planning, contractor management, and financial controls. This position appeals to your desire for the responsibility of planning operations under company tenures and managing First Nation agreements and wood supply partnerships for our manufacturing facilities.

With demonstrated professionalism and a steadfast commitment to safety as a priority, you take initiative, work both independently and collaboratively, manage priorities, and time, and possess excellent communication skills. As the successful candidate, you will have at least 5 years of relevant forestry experience and a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) designation.

Further opportunities will be provided to expand your experience in addition to roles commensurate with your qualifications. This role is flexible in nature, providing opportunities for collaboration and involvement in many aspects of our business.

As the successful candidate, we ask that you reside in one of the three communities in which we operate (Prince George, Vanderhoof, and Fort St James).

The salary range for this position is $92,841 – $106,767 per year.
