Job summary

EllisDon Corporation is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Coordinator in Ottawa to assist in developing and maintaining CPM-based baselines for projects. You will participate in pursuit activities, respond to RFPs, and track progress with regular schedule health updates and as-built analyses.

The role requires 12 months to 2 years of scheduling experience, familiarity with delivery methods (Lump Sum, Design Build, Construction Management, Unit Price), and knowledge of major construction

Qualifications

• 12 months - 2 years of construction scheduling experience or equivalent technical training.
• Familiar with Lump Sum, Design Build, Construction Management and Unit Price.
• Knowledge of Building Structure, Enclosure, Fit out, MEIT, Commissioning and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of CPM logic-based baseline schedules.
• Attend planning sessions during pursuits and respond to RFP documents.
• Evaluate construction progress and prepare regular schedule health reports.
• Maintain project schedule log on a regular basis.
• Develop and maintain database of productivity rates, procurement durations, lead times and risk items.
• Identify unplanned events and incorporate impacts into the schedule.
• Develop as-built vs as-planned schedules for snapshot comparison.
