Synex Assurance | Invessa in Laval is seeking an insurance professional to support brokers in file placement and renewals. The role requires strong organization, autonomy, and collaboration within a hybrid work environment.

You will work with Acturis and Office tools to ensure documentation accuracy, negotiate terms with insurers, and keep stakeholders updated on file progress. A background in commercial insurance is essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate in business damage insurance issued by the Financial Markets Authority.
• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial insurance.
• Proficient with Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Acturis software is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills; autonomy and resourcefulness.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration.
• High professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist brokers in placing files and ensuring follow-up.
• Collaborate with brokers to establish an investment strategy.
• Negotiate renewal conditions and insurance coverage with insurers.
• Collect necessary documentation to obtain favorable placement conditions.
• Check conformity of requests received.
• Stay informed about new products offered by insurers.
• Coordinate progress and communicate with brokers, insurers, and policyholders.

Responsibilities related to this role:

• Assist brokers in placing files and ensuring follow-up;
• In collaboration with brokers, establish an investment strategy;
• Negotiate renewal conditions and insurance coverage with insurers;
• Make sure to obtain all the necessary documentation in order to obtain favorable conditions for the placement of the file;
• Check the conformity of requests received;
• Stay on the lookout for new products offered by insurers;
• Take an interest in new market trends and ensure the transfer of information within internal teams;
• Coordinate the process and communicate the progress of the file to the various stakeholders (brokers, insurers, and policyholders);
• All other related tasks related to the placement service.

The DNA sought:

• Hold a certificate in business damage insurance issued by the Financial Markets Authority;
• Accumulate professional experience of more than 5 years in commercial insurance;
• Master the tools of the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.);
• Be familiar with the use of computer systems, in particular the use of Acturis software (an asset);
• Have excellent organizational skills;
• Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness;
• Seek to work as a team and encourage collaboration;
• Demonstrate high professional ethics.
