The Faculty of Social & Community Services (FSCS) is one of six faculties within the larger Humber College Community with our focus being on Criminal Justice Services and Human Services. Reporting to the Manager, Work Integrated Learning, the Placement Advisor is a proactive team member in the Faculty of Social and Community Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for connecting field experience opportunities for students, liaising with internship hosts, seminar instructors and students, and managing a database of placement related information. The Placement Advisor is also responsible for administrative functions relating to Work-Integrated Learning and Experiential Learning including regularly connecting with students and providing support, resources and information in preparing for field experience. The Placement Advisor will uphold the FSCS values of compassion, integrity, respect, self-awareness, and inclusion in all interactions with students, external and internal stakeholders.
