Job summary

Discovery Kidd in Canada is seeking a Pit Crew Attendant to support surface operations, including snow removal, ore movement, crushing, road grading and load-out cleanup.

Reporting to the Oreflow Supervisor, this role requires teamwork, safe operation of crushers, graders, shovels and haulage trucks, with on-call winter shifts. This position is based at Kidd Operations with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience on surface equipment.
• Knowledge of crushers, graders, shovels, and haulage trucks.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in mine surface and/or underground environment is an asset.

The Position

Reporting to the Oreflow Supervisor, the Pit Crew Attendant will be responsible for all surface activities such as snow plowing, ore movement, crushing, road grading, and load-out cleanup.

• Work as a team to complete tasks in a timely fashion
• On call during winter months for snow removal
• Other duties as assigned

Skills And Qualifications

• Relevant work experience on surface equipment
• Strong knowledge of crushers, graders, shovels, and haulage trucks
• Good communication skills
• Experience working in a mine surface and/or underground environment is considered an asset
