Job summary

The position emphasizes experience in piping design, code compliance, and coordination with vendors and project teams to deliver robust engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with ABET accreditation; solid mechanics, elasticity, FEM emphasis.
• 3+ years of relevant piping engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes.
• Understanding of pipe supporting elements design and application.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex calculations and reviews of simple calculations.
• Review system/structural designs and prepare design inputs for drawings (P&IDs, Master Diagrams).
• Prepare specifications for balance of plant equipment and bid evaluations.
• Provide input to budgets, schedules and project work plans; monitor progress within scope.
• Mentor entry-level engineers where applicable.
