Job summary

CCI Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Stress Engineer (Intermediate) to join our Pipeline & Facilities team. The role focuses on stress modeling, design, and project execution for oil and gas infrastructure, including pipelines and facilities piping.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver safe, reliable, and fit-for-purpose designs. The position requires proficiency in AutoPIPE and related codes, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA and in good standing.
• 4+ years of progressive Mechanical/Stress engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoPIPE Pipe stress analysis software.
• Experience with owner/operators, EPCM firms, or midstream companies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform, model, and review piping and pipeline stress analyses using AutoPIPE to ensure CSA Z662, ASME B31.4, B31.8 compliance.
• Support design, analysis, and modification of oil and gas transmission and facility piping systems.
• Evaluate piping flexibility under various load conditions and develop stress analysis reports.
• Prepare DBMs, engineering calculations, and design recommendations.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, civil, structural, mechanical, and operations teams.
• Lead or support project management and technical leadership activities as needed.
