Job summary

Primoris Canada is seeking B Pressure Welders for the CNRL Horizon Maintenance project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Welders will join pipe, steel, beams, vessels, and other metal components, working both indoors and outdoors in physically demanding conditions.

The ideal candidates are ticketed journeymen with Alberta B-Pressure certification and experience in pipeline or industrial maintenance environments. Rotations are 7/7 or 14/14 with paid flights from Edmonton or Calgary and camp

Qualifications

• Must be a registered ticketed journeyman or hold an apprenticeship/journeyman certificate (AIT).
• Alberta B-Pressure Certificate required.
• Current CWB SMAW certification.
• CSO certification.
• F3/F3 downhill SMAW certification.
• F3/F4 uphill SMAW certification.
• F6/F6 down/up Stainless GMAW/FCAW certification.
• F5 Uphill Stainless SMAW certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb in/under units in the field.
• Organized, self-motivated and able to work in a team.
• Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing.
