Job summary
Ledcor is hiring experienced Labourers to support a major mine life expansion project near Logan Lake, BC. You will work with piping, welding, fusion and heavy equipment crews, providing hands-on support with pipe installation and related construction activities.
Ideal candidates have experience in pipeline, heavy civil, mining or industrial construction and can pass pre-access drug/alcohol testing. The role features a 14 days on / 7 days off schedule with site-based incentives.
Qualifications
- Experience as labourer on pipeline, heavy civil, mining or industrial construction projects.
- Experience with pipe installation, fusion, rigging or pipelaying is an asset.
- Ability to understand hand signals and directions from equipment operators and crews.
- Physically capable of demanding construction tasks including lifting and uneven terrain.
Responsibilities
- Provide general labour support to pipeline and heavy equipment crews.
- Assist with pipe handling, alignment, bolting and installation.
- Support movement of pipe, fittings, tools and materials on site.
- Assist with pipelaying and trench work.
- Act as a spotter for heavy equipment operators to ensure safety.
