Job summary

Ledcor is hiring Apprentice or Journeyperson Carpenters for a mine-life expansion project near Logan Lake, BC. The roles require concrete forming experience, safety accountability, and the ability to read drawings and plan work efficiently.

Typical schedule is 14 days on, 7 days off, with day and night shifts. Upon joining, employees receive extended health benefits and travel allowances; wage range is listed and depends on trade certification and location.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Carpenter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
• Apprentice Carpenter registered with a recognized provincial training authority.
• Minimum 4 years of carpentry experience for non-ticketed Journeyperson Carpenters.
• Experience with concrete forming and engineered forming systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to prepare layouts, select materials, and plan work activities.
• Construct, install, and dismantle traditional and engineered concrete forming systems such as DOKA and traditional.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials accurately according to project requirements.
• Plan work sequences and methods to complete tasks efficiently and avoid costly errors or rework.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it is level, square, plumb, and built to specifications.
• Maintain Ledcor’s high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within project timelines.
