Job summary

Ledcor Group in British Columbia is seeking experienced Labourers for a major mine life expansion near Logan Lake. You will support earthworks, heavy equipment, and carpentry crews, acting as a spotter and performing physical labor to keep operations safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates have heavy civil construction experience, familiarity with earthworks, and the ability to take pride in reliable teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Labourer on heavy civil, earthworks, pipeline, mining or industrial construction projects.
• Experience spotting for heavy equipment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with excavation, backfill, grading and compaction is an asset.
• Experience supporting carpentry, concrete, or formwork crews is an asset.
• Must provide valid government-issued photo ID and pass pre-access drug/alcohol tests.
• Must hold CSTS-09, CSTS-2020, or CSO ticket and complete project orientations.

Responsibilities

• Provide general labour support to earthworks, heavy equipment, and carpentry crews.
• Act as a spotter for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement around hazards.
• Assist with earthworks including excavation, backfilling, grading, and material placement.
• Support carpenters with concrete and formwork activities and site cleanup.
• Assist with excavation and work around trenches and other active earthworks areas.
• Install and maintain barricades, signage, fencing and other work-area controls.
