Job summary

TD Williamson, Inc. is seeking a Laborer/Welders helper to support pipeline repair operations across Canada. You’ll assist welders in fabrication, loading equipment and materials, and helping install PETRO SLEEVE products.

This role requires a high school diploma, willingness to travel, ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, and successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. A valid Class 5 Driver's License and safety training are assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational certification preferred.
• Experience in energy/oil & gas, pipeline, and water/sewage industries is a plus.
• Two years’ experience disassembling and maintaining mechanical components preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly and stay overnight out of town.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Class 5 Driver’s License (Non-GDL) is required.
• CSTS 09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, and Confined Space tickets are assets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Welders with daily tasks and fabrication.
• Load, unload, and lift equipment, supplies, and product.
• Participate in all labour tasks to support fabrication, construction, and installation from start to finish.
• Clean and organize the shop and yard.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
