Job summary

Petro-Line is seeking an experienced seasonal part-time field labourer to join our pipeline integrity team in Alberta. Responsibilities include site setup, material handling, assisting operators, hand excavation, coating tasks, and routine site maintenance.

Candidates must have CSTS 09, H2S, First Aid, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance II, and a Class 5 license; willing to work out of town and in varying weather; ability to pass pre-employment drug testing is not specified here but not necessary.

Qualifications

• CSTS 09, H2S, First Aid, WHMIS 2015 and Ground Disturbance II are required.
• Class 5 Drivers License is required to operate vehicles and equipment.
• Willing to work out of town and in variable weather conditions.
• Physical labour and heavy lifting capability is essential.
• Previous coating applications experience is an asset (e.g., Denso, Polygaurd, Stopaq).

Responsibilities

• Sets up work sites with goal posts, signage, snow fence around excavation areas, water pumps and ladders as needed.
• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Assist heavy equipment operators on site.
• Site excavation including hand digging.
• Perform bolt ups and pipeline sandblasting as required.
• Remove and apply pipeline coatings and monitor the work area.
• Performs ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the work area.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.

Petro-Line is looking for an experienced seasonal part-time integrity field labourer to join our team.

Petro-Line is involved in the construction, maintenance, and upgrading of pipelines and facilities in the oil and gas industry. Petro-Line leads the industry in designing and completing pipeline integrity and rehabilitation projects.

Field Labourer Responsibilities:

• Sets up work sites by installing goal posts and assorted signage, snow fence around excavation area, water pumps, egress escapes (ladders) etc., where needed
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Assist heavy equipment operators
• Site Excavation including hand digging
• Perform bolt upsPipeline sandblasting
• Remove and apply pipeline coating
• Performs ongoing monitoring and maintenance of work area
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Field Labourer Qualifications:

• CSTS 09, H2S, First Aid, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance II, Class 5 Drivers License (No GDL) are the minimum required qualifications
• Must be able to do physical labour which includes repetitive tasks including heavy lifting
• Must be willing to work out of town
• Must be willing to work in variable weather conditions
• Must be available for work 7 days a week as required
• Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug testing
• Previous experience and certification in various coating applications. I.e.. Denso, Polygaurd & Stopaq considered an asset.
