Job summary

TD Williamson, Inc. in Canada is seeking a Field Quality Control Technician to oversee PETRO SLEEVE pipeline repair installations across Canada. You will ensure quality, safety, and compliance while guiding field crews and communicating with client representatives.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering Technology Diploma and may have experience in pipeline integrity or oil and gas welding. Strong computer skills, Safety certifications, and a willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technology Diploma is required; NAIT/SAIT Mechanical, Materials, or Petroleum graduates preferred.
• Strong technical computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Google Applications).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as project needs require.
• Safety certifications such as CSTS 09, First Aid, H2S, WHMIS 2015 are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and inspecting PETRO SLEEVE pipeline repair installations.
• Provide on-site leadership and direction to repair crews.
• Communicate professionally with clients and inspectors.
• Understand pipeline anomalies and failure mechanisms related to repairs.
• Monitor and ensure procedures meet specifications; interpret field reports.
