Job summary

Kiewit in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking experienced Pipefitter Journeypersons for the Mod Yard team. The role requires a valid JM Pipefitter certification and safety tickets including Fall Protection and MEWP, with at least 5 years of industrial construction experience.

Base wage is $50.00/hour under the CLAC Collective Agreement, plus 10% vacation and statutory holiday pay. Shifts are 10 hours Mon-Thu and 8 hours on Friday; overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson (JM) Pipefitter certification.
• Fall Protection safety ticket(s).
• MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) certification.
• Experience with carbon and stainless-steel pipe.
• Experience building modular packages is an asset.

Compensation and Shift Details

• Base wage: $50.00/hour (as per the CLAC Collective Agreement)
• Vacation and statutory holiday pay: 10%
• Monday to Thursday: 10-hour shifts
• Friday: 8-hour shift
• Overtime and weekend work may be required

• Successful candidates must complete the following:
  • SureHire Drug & Alcohol test
  • An Audiometric test
  • 50 lb Fitness-to-Work assessment
  • Half-mask fit test
• Travel and living-out expenses are not provided
