Job summary

Kiewit is seeking experienced Pipefitter Journeypersons to join our Mod Yard team in Edmonton, Alberta.

Base wage is $50.00/hour under the CLAC Collective Agreement, with 10% vacation and stat holiday pay. Shifts run Monday to Thursday 10 hours and Friday 8 hours; overtime and weekend work may be required. Successful candidates must hold Journeyperson certification and safety tickets and have significant industrial construction experience in carbon and stainless-steel piping and modular packages.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Pipefitter certification.
• Valid safety tickets: Fall Protection; MEWP.
• Experience working with carbon and stainless-steel pipe.
• Experience building modular packages is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial construction experience.

Compensation And Shift Details

• Base wage: $50.00/hour (as per the CLAC Collective Agreement)
• Vacation and statutory holiday pay: 10%
• Shift schedule:
• Monday to Thursday: 10-hour shifts
• Friday: 8-hour shift
• Overtime and weekend work may be required

• Successful candidates must complete the following:

• An Audiometric test
• 50 lb Fitness-to-Work assessment
• Half-mask fit test
