SITE Resource Group Limited Partnership in Edmonton, AB is seeking Journeyperson / Apprentice Pipefitters to install, maintain and repair piping systems on construction projects.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification or Apprentice AIT#
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
• Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Must be fit-for-duty
• Able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
• Eligible to work in Canada immediately
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble and install metal tubing, pipes, pipe sections, valves, and fittings.
• Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.
• Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Read and interpret client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.
