Job summary

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is seeking journeyperson pipefitters for work in Calgary, AB. The role involves installing process piping and equipment, threading, cutting, grooving, bending, and measuring piping with adherence to plans and specs.

You will perform hydrostatic testing and ensure safety, EH&S, and OH&S compliance on site. This short-term opportunity runs for 3–4 weeks and requires a valid journeyperson certificate and safety credentials.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated safety knowledge and compliance.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Process piping and equipment installations.

Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Pipefitters for work in Calgary, AB

• Schedule Rotation: Monday to Friday
• Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
• Note: This scope is will run for 3-4 weeks

What You Will Be Working On

• Process piping and equipment installations
• Threading, Cutting, Grooving, Bending, Measuring of piping
• Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
• Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems
• Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site

What We Are Looking For

• Valid Apprentice/ Journeyperson Certificate
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection
• H2S Alive
• Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
• Experience on major industrial project sitesThe ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
• Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
