Job summary

Plomberie EPG in Alma, QC is seeking a skilled plumber to handle pipe fitting, measurements, blueprint reading, and installation across multiple job sites. The role involves frequent travel to commercial, institutional, and residential settings with on-site work.

You will weld, braze, cement, solder and test piping systems for leaks, replace worn components, and ensure safety standards. A valid driver's license and an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Must be able to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes precisely.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
• Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment.
• Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
• Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system.
• Test system for leaks using testing equipment.
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system.
• Install supports, valves, piping and control systems.
• Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system.
• Installs valves, alarms and associated equipment.
• Test system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment.
• Select, measure, cut, ream and thread pipe.
