Job summary

Providence Care Hospital in Ontario is seeking a Physiotherapist to assess clients and develop individualized and group physiotherapy treatment programs. The role requires current licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and a graduate degree in physiotherapy.

You will participate in inter-professional care planning, education of students, and teaching and research in collaboration with local institutions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized school of Physiotherapy.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• Experience in student supervision is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice and best practice.
• Utilizes outcome measures to guide clinical decision-making.
• Reviews medical referrals.
• Performs appropriate evaluation/assessment.
• Participates in inter-professional care planning, team, and family conferences.
• Participates in physiotherapy education and counseling for clients, families and caregivers.
• Shares newly acquired knowledge and skills with physiotherapy staff.
• Participates in physiotherapeutic education for other health professionals, community groups and agencies.
