Job summary
A health care provider in Ontario is seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to work with long-term care clients. The Physiotherapist will create individualized treatment plans, provide clinical treatments, and educate residents and families on health management. This role requires registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Professional License Insurance, and excellent communication skills. Experience in a retirement home is preferred. The position offers part-time hours, approximately 18-22 hours per week.
Qualifications
Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Must have Professional License Insurance.
Experience working in a retirement home would be a definite asset.
Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is required.
Responsibilities
Perform physiotherapy assessments and create treatment plans for residents.
Provide clinical physiotherapy treatments for residents.
Educate residents and their families on health care management.
Ensure proper documentation of treatments and progress reports.
Communicate with the multi-disciplinary team.
Supervise PTAs and students/interns, providing clear instructions.
