Physiotherapist – Inpatient & Outpatients (Bank)

Position: Physiotherapist - Inpatient & Outpatients (Bank)
Location: Circle Reading Hospital
Shifts: Bank Shifts
Rate: Up to £25.00 Per Hour (depending on experience, training, and qualifications)

Circle Reading Hospital, part of Circle Health Group — Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, performing more complex surgeries than any other private healthcare provider in the country, is seeking a Physiotherapist to join their team.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis. The successful candidate will supplement staffing during busy periods and cover for staff absences such as annual leave.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions (dependent on setting).
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Apply therapeutic techniques, exercise programs, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent deterioration.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals for coordinated care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning.
• Refer patients to other services such as hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation as needed.
• Manage caseloads efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Candidate Requirements:

• BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and evidence-based practice skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective time management and organizational skills for varied caseloads.
