*Job Title:* Physical Therapist – 13 Week Contract

*Location:* Staples, MN

Big Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance with housing, licensure navigation, and acting as a liaison between you and the facility. Overview:

• Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
• Pay Package: Starting at $2,000 per week
• Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm – No weekends, holidays, or call
• Start Date: 04/28/2025
• Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per regulations
• Consulting with patients regarding their physical condition and medical history
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction through observation and patient interaction
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Coaching patients in therapeutic exercises and stretches
• Applying hands-on therapy such as massage to ease pain and promote healing
• Maintaining patient records and tracking progress
• Advising on in-home treatment options and recovery expectations
• Performing administrative tasks including documentation and reporting
• Ensuring confidentiality of records per HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR Certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in outpatient and/or inpatient settings preferred; new graduates welcome
