Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Physiotherapist I to provide home care physiotherapy in the Camrose/Bashaw area. You will assess, treat, and educate clients to improve physical function and independence, while coordinating with an interprofessional team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, current Alberta licensure, a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle, and up-to-date BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to clients' homes.
• Current/up to date BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to plan and evaluate rehabilitation strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer mentoring; supervise students.
• Supervise Therapy Assistants, Therapy Aides and Provisional Physiotherapists as needed.
