Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Physiotherapist I to deliver therapeutic interventions to home care clients in the Rimbey area. You will work with clients and families to improve function, collaborate with interprofessional teams, and provide education, triage, and case management in a supportive community setting.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy, current registration, a valid driver’s license for travel to clients’ homes, and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to clients' homes; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to advance services for clients in home care.
• Supervise students and provide clinical mentoring where applicable.
• Travel to clients' homes in surrounding areas to deliver care.
