Your Opportunity:

Description:

As the Physiotherapist I (PT), you will provide therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve optimal physical function and independence across various conditions including development, disease, disability, chronic illnesses, and functional decline. Your responsibilities include prevention, triage, screening, assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, treatment, management, education, consultation, resourcefulness fostering, case management, referral, and transition support for individuals, groups, populations, and communities. You will involve clients and families as vital members of the healthcare team, encouraging their active participation in all aspects of care.

The PT collaborates with patients and families to determine, implement, and evaluate appropriate rehabilitation strategies. You will participate in interprofessional teams to raise awareness, enhance support systems, and engage in quality improvement initiatives, partnering with healthcare providers, patients, families, and stakeholders to improve services. Additionally, you will contribute to quality improvement efforts, participate in peer mentoring, and supervise students. Clinical supervision of Therapy Assistants, Therapy Aides, and Provisional Physiotherapists may also be part of your role.
