Interior Health Authority seeks a relief Physiotherapist at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH). The role is part-time (0.63 FTE) with shifts 07:30–15:30 on Thursdays, Fridays, and alternating Wednesdays, plus one weekend every four weeks.
The position runs until November 2026 or until the incumbent returns. The physiotherapist will work primarily in KGH 3E (vascular and plastic surgery) and may cover additional acute care units on weekends.

This position is primarily assigned to KGH 3E (vascular and plastic surgery), plus additional acute care units on the weekends or as needed. A Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
