Job summary

East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC is hiring a permanent, part-time Physiotherapist (0.47 FTE). You will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, educate clients and caregivers, and provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants within the rehabilitation team. Acute care coverage includes medical, surgical and ICU units, with duties in Emergency Department as needed.

Mondays and Tuesdays; 1 in 6 weekends. Shift times 08:30 to 16:30.

About The Job

Acute care coverage will include the medical, surgical and ICU units as well as covering in the Emergency Department as needed. You'll work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing your expertise conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans and providing education to clients and caregivers. You'll play a vital role in promoting functional independence and enhancing overall well-being. You'll provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care within the rehabilitation team.
