Job description

Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) has an immediate permanent part-time (0.84FTE) Physiotherapist opening. This position works Sunday to Wednesday from 08:00 to 16:00. Days off are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Stat holidays that fall on scheduled workdays.

Applicable positions may qualify for up to $15,000 as a recruitment incentive and/or be eligible for relocation allowance. Apply today!

About The Position

As a Physiotherapist in our dynamic multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. You'll work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing your expertise to provide comprehensive physiotherapy services that empower individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. From conducting assessments to developing personalized treatment plans and providing education to clients and caregivers, you'll play a vital role in promoting functional independence and enhancing overall well-being. You’ll also provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care within the rehabilitation team. Additionally, you'll have the chance to actively contribute to our organization's goals and participate in quality assurance initiatives, research endeavors, and educational opportunities.

About this Location

Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a referral centre for three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. Our Emergency department sees upwards of 36k visits, and we have 129 acute beds and 102 extended care beds, offering a full range of health services to the community.

Penticton has one of the best year-round climates in Canada, where you can enjoy two beautiful lakes, acres of parks, and wilderness trails on the local mountains. Penticton's population is approximately 33,000 and offers small-town charm with bigger city amenities. Live, work, and play where others only vacation!
