Bayshore HealthCare in Ontario seeks a skilled Physiotherapist responsible for client assessment, treatment programs, and documentation of Physiotherapy activities. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams and supervising Rehab Assistants.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. The Physiotherapist, under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation is responsible for completion of professional activities that include assessment, treatment, education, report writing and management of clients requiring Physiotherapy intervention, in accordance with professional standards. The areas of practice include MVA, WSIB and Private. Physiotherapy services are carried out in client's homes, communities and work sites.
The Physiotherapist reports to the Director Therapy & Rehabilitation, Manager of Rehab or designate as appropriate.
Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Preference of two years providing Physiotherapy services. Experience within home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and the legal system particularly medical/legal report writing. Experience with WSIB and Private clients is an asset.
The Physiotherapist must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives.
Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review if required. Input will be sought from employees and consultants at the branch and National Service Centre as applicable.
