THE CENTRE IS SEEKING A : Physiotherapist

POSITION :

Part-time Permanent – 24 Hours per week, Possibility of contract work

Centre de santé Univi Health Centre is seeking a dynamic physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. Working within a person-centered care approach and addressing the social determinants of health, the successful candidate will provide physical rehabilitation services that promote health, prevent injury, and improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programs for clients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, in accordance with the standards of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Provide physiotherapy services in a clinical setting.
  • Educate clients and their families on the management of physical health conditions.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of health promotion activities and community-based programs.
  • Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team and coordinate internal and external referrals as needed.
  • Ensure safe, effective care that meets professional standards, including maintaining clinical documentation and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in strategic planning and accreditation activities.
  • Possess a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Be currently registered in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience; experience in a community setting is considered an asset.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English, preferred.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Be proficient with clinical software and digital tools.
  • Show sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations and a commitment to inclusion and culturally safe care.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.
