Unit Summary

The Pediatric Hematology & Oncology ambulatory clinic offers comprehensive care to pediatric patients with blood and oncology diagnoses, including acute tertiary and subspecialty oncology medical and surgical care in a family-centered environment. The team collaborates across outpatient, inpatient, and community settings.

Position Summary

The Physiotherapist will perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation within their scope of practice, documenting all activities accordingly.

Schedule Work Hours

Monday – Friday, days/evenings

Qualifications
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Minimum 1 year Pediatric physiotherapy experience within the last 4 years, in the care of infants, children, and their families in a tertiary or acute care setting
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), critical thinking, mentoring, coaching, and team collaboration skills
  • Strong facilitation, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
  • Ability to facilitate change, foster innovation, and demonstrate organizational values
  • Commitment to continuous learning
