Position: Physiotherapist (Part-Time)
Hours: 4–5 hours per week, with potential to increase based on client needs
Setting: Community and Facility-Based
Location:Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge/Guelph
Position Summary:
CareKW is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to provide high-quality care to our clients across both community and facility settings. This is a part-time role (4–5 hours per week), with the potential for additional hours depending on evolving client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct physiotherapy interventions to support mobility, pain management, and functional independence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy, and personal support workers.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Document all assessments, plans, and interventions in a timely and professional manner.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and mobility strategies to support health and safety.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Experience in both community and facility-based care settings is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (for community visits).
